See Spot Walk

The view from the end of the line... There must have been over 2,000 dogs!

Meeting up with BFF, Salli and her mom Lisa. Meanwhile, Callie checks out the little dogs...

And, we're off!

Stopping for a little water in front of City Hall.

Helping Dad mow the lawn earlier this summer...

Who says we all have to mow the lawn?

Callie's First Snow

Well, it was October 10th, 2008 and the earliest snowfall on record! As you can see we hadn't even put away her pool yet!!

She really didn't know what to think about it, but she didn't seem to mind too much.

Even the trees weren't ready for this craziness!

Callie and Salli

Callie made a new friend today, a girl named Salli. They had a great time getting to know each other and Callie even showed Salli the joys of a pool.

I think that they are going to be good friends and looking forward to the "See Spot Walk" in October. If you haven't been, please check it out, it is so much fun!

Here is a little video of the fun they had!

Where's Callie?

Hanging out with Dad on her first camping trip. Yes, Yes.... We know.... you can't really call it camping!

Callie did very well on her first camping trip.... She was pretty tired out and had to take a nap on the couch!

Cone Head and Skippy

I can't believe I have to wear this thing, it is totally impeding my ability to chase the cats!

Dad decided that since I had to be spayed and have my dew claws removed and thus required to wear these bandages on my feet he would break his foot so I wouldn't feel so alone. At least mine match my collar.

BTW, I am going for a record on how long I will have to wear this dumb thing... my vet who just loves me says that I am very talented because even though I am wearing the biggest size collar they have, I am still able to chew the bandages off my back feet.

What do you mean I have to learn to walk on a leash?

"I don't understand why my mom and dad find it so important that I learn to walk calmly and nicely while attached to this pink rope. Maybe mom should just concentrate on teaching dad how to walk in the first place!"

Tired out!

Mom had to take this picture from inside the house so she wouldn't wake me up from my nap. I am sure that it was because she knew I needed a nap and not because she needed a little peace and quiet.

New Addition to the Family

For those of you that have not met her... This is Callie. We met Callie on June 21st. at the Meridian Animal Shelter and she came home to stay on June27th. She is an Austrailian Shepherd and Catahoula mix. She is approximately 4-5 months old. Like another member of the family that is no longer with us, she has one blue eye and one brown and four white paws. It was love at first sight and she is fitting right in. She has the best personality, is extremely soft and all puppy! We hope that you all can meet her soon!
