Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!!

We are officially on stand-by for a call from Brooke that things are starting to happen. We had our first scare this morning when Brooke called to say that she was not feeling well and would be calling the nurse to check in. She had some contractions last night and wasn't feeling well, but has since started feeling better and we are back in wait mode...

At just over 36 weeks, everyone still seems to be doing okay. The babies are, we are guessing about six and a half to seven pounds based on the last ultrasound two weeks ago and the fact that they should be gaining about half a pound a week. Brooke is still feeling okay, just uncomfortable, tired and sore. We are definitely in the home stretch and at over 36 weeks, the babies are definitely old enough to be born healthy. We are so excited to finally get to hold and kiss them soon.

We definitely can't thank Brooke and Andy enough. We are so grateful to them to give us this gift and extend our family. We love you guys so much. Curtis, you are always going to be Auntie's "Stinky". Hopefully someday you will let me call you Stinky again and not just Curtis or Cursey. You are so special to me and we love you so much. Thanks to all of you that have supported us all through this last year. Thanks especially to those of you that have been so good to Brooke and Andy and helped them out since we are so far away.

I hope this will be my last post until I can put up pictures of Lauren and Nicholas. Here are some pictures of their wall in their nursery.
